Raymond James Caravans – Update 11.04.2021
In line with our recent announcements, we look forward to reopening Raymond James Caravans from tomorrow, Monday the 12th April 2021 from 10am onwards. We will continue to maintain a COVID Safe environment for all our customers, employees and visitors.
As such, we are open for the following activities:
• Caravan Servicing (appointment only)
• Caravan Sales and Handover (appointment only)
Our accessory store will remain closed. Awnings and accessory shop purchases will continue to be available for click and collect (please see our awnings and accessories pages)
Please be aware that all visitors will need to make a prebooked COVID Secure appointment, either by telephone 02476 474747 (lines open from 10am 12th April 2021), or by email to the following email address email@example.com and have a confirmed reply before their visit.
We ask that all customers who had service bookings from the 2nd January – 11th April 2021 that did not happen because of the Lockdown, allow us to contact you and rearrange accordingly. You may appreciate that with over 400 services to reschedule on top of what is already planned, this is an ongoing process. Our team are working through this in date order and will be in contact in due course. Please do not call us as this will only block our telephone lines and make this more difficult for everyone concerned.
All pre authorised warranty work, will take place at the time of your next service.
We also advise all customers that we will not be taking on any new service bookings or additional work for the rest of this year. This is so that we can work through the backlog of customers that have been affected as a result of the restrictions that we have had to work around.
Please be aware that as a result of the pandemic and the lockdown restrictions, there have been inevitable delays in obtaining caravans from the manufacturers. This is largely due to delays in the supply chain and the availability of the component parts required.
Our team is in the process of contacting all customers that have a caravan on order here at Raymond James (either new or used). This is either to reschedule any handover appointments that were affected by the lockdown, or to provide an updated availability status of new caravans still to come and to arrange collection dates for all caravans that we have in stock.
We are closely monitoring the advice of both the UK Government and our trade organisation the National Caravan Council. As such, we are encouraged by the success of the ongoing COVID vaccination program and look forward to a time that we can reopen fully when it is safe to do so.
