What comes as standard on the Coachman Veloce
Raymond James Caravans sells new Coachman Veloce campervans. There are two models: the Veloce VR65, with an electronic rise-and-fall rear bed, and the Veloce VL65, with two fixed single beds. Both are two-berth panel-van conversions built on the Fiat Ducato, easy to drive and specified for British roads and weather.
You can see both models below, with prices and full specs on each one. Come and sit inside them on our Atherstone forecourt, and we’ll help you find the layout that fits how you travel.
Both Veloce campervans sit on the Fiat Ducato with a 2.2 litre 140hp engine and an 8-speed automatic gearbox, so they’re relaxed to drive whether you’re on the motorway or a narrow lane. Every one comes ready for the road, with the kit you’d otherwise pay extra for.
- Warm on any trip. A Whale 6kW underfloor blown air heater keeps the whole van comfortable, so you’re not tied to summer weekends.
- Off-grid ready. A lithium battery and roof-mounted solar panel keep you powered up away from a hook-up.
- Sorted for the road. Cab air conditioning, an integrated reversing camera and a Thule 4m awning all come as standard.
- Comfort inside. An Avtex Smart 19-inch TV and a full kitchen and washroom mean everything you need is built in.
VR65 or VL65: which layout suits you
The choice between the two Veloce campervans comes down to how you sleep and use the space. Here’s the quick guide.
Coachman Veloce VR65
Coachman Veloce VL65
A two-berth with two fixed single beds in a rear bedroom, so there’s no making up the bed each night. It has a kitchen with a two-burner hob and oven, a domestic-style shower cubicle and a washbasin. A good fit if you value a permanent bed and a proper oven.
Not sure which way to go? Come and lie on both beds and see the two side by side. That’s the quickest way to decide.

New Coachman campervans: your questions answered
What is the difference between the Coachman Veloce VR65 and VL65?
The VR65 has an electronic rise-and-fall rear bed that lifts away in the day for more living space, and a shower cubicle with a cassette toilet. The VL65 has two fixed single beds you never have to make up, plus a two-burner hob and oven. Both are two-berth panel-van campervans on the same Fiat Ducato base. We can show you both side by side.
Can I drive a Coachman Veloce on a normal car licence?
Most people can. Both models have a maximum weight of 3,500kg, which fits a standard Category B car licence for most drivers.
How many people does a Coachman Veloce sleep?
Both models are two-berth, so they’re built for couples or solo travellers who want their own space. The VR65 sleeps two on its electronic rear bed; the VL65 sleeps two on its fixed single beds.
What warranty comes with a new Coachman Veloce?
Every new Veloce comes with a manufacturer warranty and a 10-year water ingress warranty.
