The 2027 Swift Sprite Grande Quattro FB is new to the Sprite range this year, a 6 berth touring caravan and the first Sprite to come in an 8ft wide body. At 2.46m (8ft) wide and 7.98m (26’2″) in external length, it’s a twin axle van, so it tows steadily and gives you the extra stability a bigger family caravan needs.
Layout and Living Space The Grande Quattro FB gives you a front double bed that also splits into two single beds, plus further sleeping space across the van for up to six in total. Blinds and fly screens are fitted to every window, and front and top opening bed bases give you easy access to storage underneath.
Kitchen Facilities The kitchen has a Thetford thermostatic oven with grill and a three burner gas hob, so you can cook a full meal whichever hook-up you’re on. An under counter Dometic 98 litre fridge with a freezer compartment means you can cook a full meal on site, rather than relying on the site restaurant every night.
Heating and Climate The Grande Quattro FB runs on dual fuel heating from a Truma Combi Boiler, with low energy LED lighting fitted throughout the van and a minimum of four 230V sockets so you’re never short of power.
Practical Extras A twin USB point is fitted for charging phones and tablets, and an AL-KO AKS stabiliser is fitted as standard for extra confidence on the road.
Weight and Towing The Grande Quattro FB has an unladen weight of 1490kg and an MTPLM of 1670kg, giving you 180kg of payload to work with. It’s a twin axle van, one of the few in the Sprite range. It’s worth checking those figures against your car’s towing limit and kerb weight before you order.
