Raymond James Caravans COVID 19 update.
We hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Recent events have made us all stop and consider the most valuable things in life, time spent with family, the great outdoors, socialising with friends and the freedom to go wherever we choose, whenever we like.
With this in mind we are delighted to be able to announce the phased reopening of Raymond James Caravans and we will start to welcome customers back from Monday 1st June 2020 onwards. This is initially for pre-booked Appointments Only, and whilst everyone is welcome, an appointment with a member of our team should be confirmed by email before you come
Our re-opening plans have been carefully considered with everyone’s safety and wellbeing our main priority. In the early stages, we will be open for the following activities
– Caravan Servicing
– Caravan Collections
– Caravan Sales
Also, to maintain social distancing, and to allow appointment availability for everyone, we have extended our opening hours in this first phase as follows.
– Monday to Saturday: 8.00am – 8.30pm
– Sunday: 10.30am – 4.30pm
We are continuing to work within Government Guidelines, by limiting the number of people allowed to gather at any one time. As such our main gate will be closed, then manned by a member of staff allowing entry for those with confirmed appointments, radioing in and guiding you what to do next

Our telephone lines will be open 9am – 8:30pm, Monday – Saturday, 10:30am – 4:30pm Sunday
You may also want to know that our traditional hospitality of light refreshments and customer toilet facilities are not available at this time, so you may want to plan for this before you come
Please help us to help you by being here on time for your scheduled appointment, if you arrive at a different time, we may not be able to accommodate, this is due to us not having our usual full complement of staff working at the same time due to the COVID-19 precautions.
We are very pleased to confirm that all of our Caravan Manufacturing partners, in addition to ourselves have extended the required service intervals affected by this unplanned closure.
Coachman – extended by 90 days
EHG UK (Elddis/Buccaneer Statement). “During this period, EHG will not penalise Customers for a late service, provided that the service is carried out as soon as possible once the situation is resolved.”
Bailey – extended by 6 months
Raymond James Used Warranty service intervals – extended by 6 months
All Caravan Collections, Caravan Servicing and Warranty appointments originally booked prior to the COVID-19 lockdown will be re-scheduled and we will be taking no fresh service bookings for this year. Also, minor warranty adjustments will only take place at the time of your next service, this is subject to a valid authorised warranty claim in place and parts availability.
Our Customer Services team is now in the process of contacting everyone affected to make new arrangements. With this in mind, we ask that you please bear with us and do not try to call us first, this will just prevent our team from making outgoing calls.
Please rest assured that everyone with an existing booking will be contacted.
We are thrilled to see that there is more interest in caravanning than ever before, with over 3000 email enquiries here while we have been away, many of you have asked to reserve caravans ahead of us reopening and there has been a lot of social media interest in what Raymond James Caravans has to offer. We think while we have had a pause for 10 weeks, we will certainly be very busy going forwards.
We are extremely thankful to everyone for your ongoing support and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
